Geoff Miles - Chairman

An entertainment industry veteran with more than 40 years’ experience, Geoff boasts a distinguished and varied background in producing and directing in all areas of television and boasts a firm reputation as an industry leader.

Prior to his purchase of the Maidstone Studios in 2002, with his business partner Rowland Kinch, Geoff worked primarily for the BBC alongside industry greats such as Bob Hope, Elton John and Tommy Cooper. His exceptional accomplishments within the industry earned him an honorary “Master of Arts” degree from the University for the Creatives Arts in 2012.

Since purchasing the Studios in 2002, Geoff has used his impeccable diplomatic and negotiation skills to ensure the Studios is known as a hub of creative talent and leading the development of our flagship HD studio, Studio 1.

Going above and beyond his duties as chairman at the Studios. Geoff holds numerous titles and roles across the county, not only efficaciously promoting the studios; he is renowned for endorsing all local business in Kent. A hands on manager, Geoff oversees the Studios production teams guaranteeing a powerful strategic plan to make Maidstone studios a competitive alternative to production owned TV studios.

Given Geoff’s hugely successful career and un-paralleled work for local business, it is hardly surprising he was awarded the title “Deputy Lieutenant of Kent”.

Elizabeth Bell - Finance Director

Liz Joined the Studios as the Office accountant having amassed an impressive 20 years’ experience within the industry.

Her flair for organization and motivating leadership style swiftly became apparent moving Liz away from pure accountancy and into Office management.

Liz ensures the smooth organization of all people, information and recourses at Maidstone Studios assisting in the development and implementation of the firm’s policies and procedures and maintaining an overall view of the organizational structure, workforce, facilities and all administration needed for Maidstone Studios to accomplish its goals and objectives.

Liz is often the first voice that you hear when you call and the first smiling face you see when you enter the office.

Josh Sargeant - Operations Manager

Josh joined Maidstone Studios with extensive knowledge of the FMCG industry and a passion for customer service. Having worked his way up to Snr Management level of a well-known and established brand, Josh brought with him strong organizational and communication skills and a wealth of experience working within strict procedural controls.

Josh began working with us in 2016, working solely with the events side of the business successfully managing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to fully catered events with in excess of 100 guests.

Josh is now part of a focused and dynamic production and facilities team within Maidstone Studios that deliver a multi-faceted, coordinated and excellently managed service to all production companies.


Josephine Clark - Commercial Director

Jo has worked primarily as a Producer and Production Manager for just under twenty years across Live TV, Light Entertainment, Children’s Television, Drama and Documentaries and now heads up the TV department at Maidstone Studios.

Jo is responsible for looking after new and existing clients, driving new business and loves nothing better than meeting new clients and making sure their vision turns to reality.

Dave Parker - COO

Prior to joining the Maidstone Studios, in early 2016, Dave managed and maintained a high level secure site having amassed over 20 years’ experience in the building and construction Industry with a solid track record of delivering project at a pace. Beginning his career in construction Dave went on to obtain knowledge, skills and qualifications in all areas of the industry including IOSH, CDCD Construction site and NEBOSH.

Since joining the Maidstone Studios, Dave has taken over the management of a varied and complex workload and in 2017, along with his operational and strategic team, secured the BSI 18001 health and safety certification for the studios.

Dave consistently demonstrates a professional manner, strong negotiation and delegation skills and a true understanding of the site needs and requirements.

Dave maintains that it is possible to be a health and safety expert and an all-around fun guy.
