The Maidstone Studios - Education

The Studios working in association with UCA have recently launched a range of Media specific HE courses.

UCA - University for the Creative Arts

This course is taught at Maidstone TV Studios and at UCA Maidstone and offers a unique opportunity to study in a professional environment.

Upon successful completion of the course, you have the opportunity to progress to the one year BA (Hons) Broadcast Media.

Key study topics include:

  • Research-script writing.
  • Media strategy.
  • Narrative and genre.
  • Direction.
  • As live – studio production.
  • Fiction – adaption.
  • Work placement.
  • Major production.
