Digital Kent

Kent TV was launched by Kent County Council and is operated by the independent media company, Ten Alps Digital.

Dormatt Productions Limited
Working from their workshop at The Maidstone TV Studios – with over forty skilled local freelance staff – Kent’s leading set-builders, Dormatt Productions, provide scenic services including design, construction, studio setting and management to major producers such as: BBC, Disney, Hat Trick, Princess Productions, Foundation and Hit Television.
Dormatt also provide scenic props for feature films, which have included Star Wars, Judge Dredd and True Blue.
The Foundation
Formed in January 1994 and incorporated 4th April 1996, The Foundation is an established independent production company.
The Foundation is jointly managed by Ged Allen and Venessa Hill and credits include: Ministry of Mayhem, The Basil Brish Show, Finger Tips (winner of Prix Jeunesse), Finders Keepers and many, many more.

FrancisKnight
FrancisKnight is an independent Contemporary Arts Practice based at Maidstone TV Studios, Kent. They commission inspirational and exceptional artist led cross-art form projects, in the public realm for the public benefit. Established in 2004, FrancisKnight is run by founders and directors, Louise Francis and Laura Knight. They specialise in working with artists, clients, commissioners and audiences to offer innovative, bespoke consultancy advice and project management skills within the arts and regeneration sector.
FrancisKnight follow a high standard of good practice working with artists to incorporate creative thinking into the built environment. This includes social engagement programmes when working with communities, cultural contributions to developing a sense of place and commissioning public art.
