August 2007 - Studio 5 houses the welcome return of Basil Brush

The Basil Brush Show returns again to The Maidstone TV Studios.  Series 6 of this popular BBC Children’s sitcom is currently in production in Maidstone TV Studios Studio 5, the largest single TV Studio in the country.  This again shows that not only is Studio 5 capable of the UK largest LE entertainment shows, but can facilitate anything from drama through to sitcom.

A total of 20 sets are all standing, allowing the production company Foundation TV (Part of the RDF group) significant cost savings and a reduced production schedule.

Also returning later this year will be Matchroom Poker’s UK Open.  This popular show for Challenge will be returning for its 4th year.

General Manager Kenton Oxley said: ‘We are delighted to have shows regularly returning to us.  It’s great to know our clients want to come back… and we love to have them here.’
